Arxus Primo Nord
Arxus Primo Nord is developed towards the demanding environment of the
Nordic nature. Everything from clay to soft bog and mountains.
Based of many years of experience with natural rubber boots, Arxus is
developed – though with further improvement.
Arxus is made of 100% natural rubber to achieve long lifetime and to provide
sufficient protection against the outer environment.
No chemicals have been used in order to keep the performance of natural rubber origin. Only colour pigmentation and necessities for the vulcanisation process have been used.
Low temperature during the vulcanisation process ensures that the natural rubber keeps its natural moisture, which is important to reach long lifetime.
The unique thickness of the rubber 2,0 – 2,1 mm is of importance to provide
a sufficient protection against the outer environment.
For comparing other manufacturers generally uses 1,6 – 1,8 mm.
From the smell of the boot you will recognize the smell from natural rubber.
Arxus unique construction with natural rubber covering the whole foot makes the boot waterproof even before the sole is mounted. In case of damage of the sole the boot remains waterproof.
The Wibram Sole has a construction of 3 technical layers, which provides a superb comfort, with a regular support and in the same time a good contact to the ground.
Arxus has a latex glued strap fitting around the whole shaft for tightening of the boot, which ensures that this strap it never will come loose when you are tightening the strap.
The exclusive edging mounted at the top of shaft on the boot ensures that the lining does not separate from the natural rubber, a crucial friction point as you touch this point every time you enter the boot.
Arxus Primo Nord has a 5 mm “lion-yellow”
neoprene lining inside the whole boot and
additional a 5 mm anatomic EVA – sole
to provide the best isolation against
coldness. Specified for -30° Celcius.
